Can someone please explain this in English in generel? Is this league shutting down or is it simply a change of forum?

Sadly I can not participate in the first two rounds of the championship but @otti501 (germanoldie) has offered to replace me in these races.

I'm still in and I'm racing the M3.

Because of exams an such I can not guarantee my participation in the first two races but I do plan on racing the rest of the season.

The_Rock01 and I have agreed to switch cars so that he gets the BMW Z4 and I the M3 if the league allows that

I'm just got a T300 Ferrari GTE and, yes, the pedals are very low quality. Beforehand I've used a Fanatec wheel, so I have some CSR Elite pedals lying around which are some great pedals. I've ordered a CPX Adapter from Basherboards (http://www.basherboards.com/CPX) which should allow me to connect my Fanatec pedals to a Thrustmaster Wheel. The wait for one is two months but that isn't really a problem anymore since the game was delayed.

I've been playing racing games most of my life on consoles with my favorites being Forza Motorsport and Dirt 2. I got my first proper steering wheel in 2011, which was a Fanatec GT2, and since then I have been playing iRacing on and off. Until a few months back I was a part of the "Absolute Beginners League" on iRacing where we raced in a multiclass field people of varying degree of skill since the league was open to anyone who wanted to race respectfully and cleanly. With no last generation wheel compatibility on PS4 in sight, I have bought a Thrustmaster T300 which will arrive soon and I hope to continue my hobby on Project Cars.
As you probably have noticed I don't speak a lot of German so I will communicate in English whenever possible. I hope this won't be to much of an inconvenience for you guys.

You don't have to :) I can get a general understanding of what you're writing with my limited understanding of German and with Google Translate. I will ask, of course, if I come across something that I don't fully understand and it seems important.
I can see that the Z4 GT3 is available, and as far as I know that car has a reputation of handling well, so I'll prefer that one.

Hello, I'm Martin. I'm from Denmark, so my German is quite poor. I do understand a slight bit though and other than that I hope to be able to speak to you in English. I've been playing racing games for many years, starting with Forza Motorsport 3 and the Dirt series and recently I've been part of the Absolute Beginners League on iRacing.com, a league that had a wide spread of talent and focused on gentleman racing. I've left iRacing, though, mostly because of the cost compared to the time I spend on it.
I have preordered Project Cars for PS4 and I hope that it lives up to its reputation so we can have some exciting races on the track :)
